Steady Hands Artist Cooperative was built out of necessity. As a young artist it is hard to find resources or build the confidence to create your own path. Our collective aims to increase access to the arts in North Texas by hosting and providing low-to-no-cost opportunities, events and resources to the local community. Our goal is to enrich the art community in DFW and the world at large by showcasing and equipping artists who may lack vital career resources. Steady Hands is most proud of our Long Haul Art and Music Fest at Rubber Gloves. We look forward to continuing our work in Denton.

How Could I Forget is a U-Haul exhibition hosted by Steady Hands Artist Cooperative including works from studio art students and recent graduates from both UNT and TWU. The show includes three photographers: UNT undergrad Gannon Shaffer & TWU MFA graduates Kelly Waller and Alexandra Barnett, who also teaches photography at UNT. The show also includes four painters: Syd Campbell, Emilia Jansse, Sera Rose, and Kaylyn Grace. Sera and Kaylyn both graduated from UNT this spring, along with the featured printmaker in the show, Elijah Link Robbins. Syd Campbell, founder and president of Steady Hands, graduated from UNT in 2024 and is the curator of the show.
