Steady Hands Artist Cooperative

Steady Hands will hold an outdoor art show with both two-dimensional works and a temporary sculpture garden. Participants include SHAC members: Syd Campbell, Steven Santamaria, Bryce Gray, Gannon Shaffer, Elijah Link Robbins, Jenna Wesson, Kat Hardi, and Sera Rose.

Our collective, based in Denton, TX, aims to increase access and connection within the arts in North Texas by hosting and providing low-to-no-cost opportunities, events and resources to the local community. We hope that by showcasing and equipping artists who may lack vital career resources, we may achieve our goal of enriching the art community in DFW and the world at large.

We began as a small group of art students from UNT putting together art shows inside of our college houses. We first came together in December 2023, and in September 2024 we expanded our members and changed our name to Steady Hands Artist Cooperative. Since then, we’ve hosted art markets, music shows, U-Haul art exhibitions, and networking parties, while always looking forward to the future.
