Lyn May

Lyn May seeks to show what it means to intellectualize and legitimize your trauma as a means of taking back the power of your autobiography. They explore tragical narratives within figurative expressionism, often anthropomorphizing my gestures on the paper in order to psychoanalyze myself. They apply a sense of magic to their work, believing there are hidden meanings and deities hiding, waiting to be met by their creator. And to find these deities, these past women that are ever-knowing symbols of truth and hope is a tool of self-discovery within their process of healing and becoming their own person.
