2026 SpeedBump lil d Artist Application

Speed Bump Lil d gives a platform for artists in Denton to build community and show their work. This one day event is free and open to the public on May 23, 2026 from 11am-4pm.

Artist applications are due on April 10, 2026. Once you receive a notice of acceptance, any final location/artist info is due on April 20 so the website can be updated.

Many locations for SpeedBump are intimate and nontraditional spaces. In the past, artists and curators have shown work in their garages, backyard sheds, local coffee shops & galleries. It is up to you to secure your spot and determine how you’d like to present your work.

If you are showing as a group, you need to only fill out one application per location. Please email each artist's info [name, website, social handles/links, and 5 sentence artist statement] to speedbumplild@eyeland.studio by April 20, 2026.
