Born in Tehran Iran, Fari Rahimi is a contemporary sculptor. She uses steel to exhibit strength and transparent glass to create visual movement and mystery, symbolic of feminine vulnerability and inherent vitality. She earned her BFA in painting from Cameron University in Oklahoma and was one of the top three painting studio majors in the entire university.
After obtaining her MFA in sculpture from the University of North Texas, Rahimi has had numerous successful exhibitions and solo shows throughout the US. She has also been selected to be a public artist in Dallas and Fort Worth. She resides in Denton, Texas and was a cohort alumna artist of Cedars Union a nonprofit art incubator in Dallas, Texas.
